The house rules and security deposit we insist on are primarily intended for those who think that disturbing the peace of other guests is acceptable and that intentional destruction of inventory is included in the price of accommodation.
Security deposit of 150,00 € for each apartment in Povlja and 250,00 € for our apartment in Makarska is refundable on departure in accordance with the house rules hereafter.
Publicly available house rules guarantee that inappropriate behavior won't be tolerated and that all guests will have a peaceful and pleasant stay with us.
1) Before arriving at destination prepare ID cards and the security deposit required for check-in, please. The security deposit is refundable at check-out in accordance with the house rules. ID cards will be returned the same day to you after e-registration with the Croatian Tourist Board.
2) More people arrival than announced in the reservation is at your own risk. If unannounced persons can't be accommodated with us, no refund at request. Each unannounced person including kids of any age with extra charge 10,00 €/night at check-in.
3) Accommodation is available from 15:00 on the arrival day until 09:00 on the departure day in order to prepare apartments for new guests arriving the same day after 15:00.
4) Earlier check-in at half day price by prior arrangement only.
5) If guests don't check-out by 09:00 o'clock, an extra day will be charged from security deposit (see point 3).
6) Kids play that turns into destruction of inventory and disturbing the peace of other guests due to parental carelessness won't be tolerated. Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades as well as ball games are not allowed in the yard.
7) If damage exceeds the amount of security deposit, the difference up to full amount will be charged immediately on the spot.
8) Shouting, playing loud music and making noise between 14:00 - 16:00 and especially from 23:00 - 08:00 is strictly prohibited.
9) Smoking in the apartment is strictly prohibited as well. It is permitted only on the terraces.
10) Visits by third parties are not allowed. We are not a gathering place for friends and relatives who are acommodated elsewhere.
11) Providing shower services to relatives camping nearby, as well as toilet services to friends from the beach is strictly forbidden.
12) Don’t bring us cats from the street, they will look for food and keep coming back, peeing and pooping in the yard.
13) Violation of house rules may result in immediate termination of accommodation service with no refund for unused days of stay, including security deposit.
14) Empty the kitchen trash can at least every day and ventilate the apartment regularly (when the air conditioner is off) to prevent long-lasting unpleasant smells in the apartment after you leave.
15) Keep protective covers on the beds and couches throughout your stay.
16) Guests on departure are obligated to leave clean and tidy apartment, utensils and cutlery stored dry and clean. Otherwise, cleaning fee 60,00 €/apartment will be charged from security deposit.
Air conditioning
1) The use of air conditioner is included in the price and it's not charged extra if electricity is used rationaly as described hereafter.
a) The air conditioner is set so that the difference between indoor and outdoor air does not exceed 10°C. For example, if the outside temperature is 33°C, the air conditioner is set to at least 23°C.
b) The doors and windows are closed while the air conditioner is running.
c) Guests turn off the air conditioner before going on excursion, shopping, on the beach, outside for dinner, etc.
2) The use of air conditioner is not included in the price and will be additionally charged 10,00 €/day from security deposit if electricity is used irationaly as described hereafter.
a) The air conditioner is set so that the difference between indoor and outdoor air exceeds 10°C, air conditioner works non-stop.
b) The doors or windows are open, air conditioner works non-stop.
c) Guests don't switch off the air conditioner even if they go on excursion, shopping, on the beach, outside for dinner, etc.
Pets
1) Bringing pet without prior announcement is not allowed.
2) Owner of the pet guarantees that pet is trained well, will not disturbs other guests and won't makes damage.
3) Owner of the pet guarantees to won’t leave pet alone in the apartment at any time unattended.
4) Pets are strictly forbidden to stay and sleep on the couches or in the beds.
5) Owner of the pet is required to brings his own pots, towels and bed for his pet.
6) Pet at extra charge 10,00 €/night.

16) In order to prevent possible misunderstandings regarding excessive consumption of electricity and water as described below, counters will be read at check-in and check-out. If excessive consumption is found, the cost will be deducted from the security deposit at check-out.
17) Excessive water consumption means endless showering, cooling bottles of drinks and fruits with running water in the sink before consumption.

Terms of payment
1) Complete booked period stated in voucher must be paid in full amount. Subsequent requests for shortening duration of stay will not be considered in order to reduce the total price of stay. Guest can leave apartment earlier than scheduled without refunding amount for unused days of stay.
2) Four weeks before arrival at destination the host will remind a guest via e-mail that second portion of payment should be paid at least three weeks before arrival and to scanned proof of payment send us via e-mail as already mentioned on our web page Contact & booking, under section ’’Booking conditions’’, point nr.5
3) If guest refuses to pay a second portion of payment by the specified deadline in full amount stated in voucher and ignores host’s request for proof of payment, his reservation will be canceled and apartment will be offered for a new reservation without any obligation to return already received payment.
4) Payment of the reservation implies that the guest is familiar with house rules, agrees with terms of payment and cancelation policy.
Cancelation policy
1) In regular conditions the guest can cancel his reservation only once, no later than 30 days before planned arrival day. In that case, booking fee payment will not be refunded to guest but transferred for next year holiday in the same duration at no lower price than stated in the voucher. The price of accommodation for the next season will be in accordance with current prices at the time of the new booking, without discount you may have for previous season.
2) In case that situation due to the war in Ukraine escalates or situation due to COVID-19 is so bad that borders are closed and travel is not possible, guest can cancel his reservation anytime before arrival. Same as above under point no.1, booking fee payment will not be refunded to guest but transferred for next year holiday in the same duration in available period chosen by the guest.
